KF Stick 2GK Visual urine strips: glucose and ketones

What it is

KF Stick 2GK are indicator strips for the semi-quantitative detection of glucose and ketone bodies in urine. The strip has two reagent pads: one reacts to glucose, the other to ketones. On contact with urine the pads change colour; the intensity is compared to a reference scale on the tube. It's a simple at-home way to suspect diabetes decompensation and ketoacidosis — especially when sugar is high, with nausea or malaise. Suitable for home and clinics.
